I have 6 54w T5's with icecap reflectors and triad ballasts on a 90 gal tank. I am tranisitioning from a softies tank to an SPS tank. I would really appreciate some feedback/suggestions for my lighting set-up to help ensure success with sps. I hear its better to have icecap ballasts to overdrive the bulbs. But I would rather stay away from them to help keep the heat down. I will switch if my current set-up is not adequate. I am also interested to know if I should make some changes to the type of bulbs I am using:
From front to back:

UVL Super Actinic
ATI Blue plus
ATI 12000K aquablue
GE 3000K daylight
ATI Blue plus
UVL Super actinic

Thanks for your help!

I think that the T5's are enough with the correct bulbs. CHeck the T5 Q&A thread for specifics. I am running the same set up on a 90 gl sps. ATI's, Geissman and UVA's are the bulbs of choice. I am running Geisman Actinics, and ATI white actinics and daylights. My corrals are doing well. THe system is pretty new though (4 months)
