QT tank, copper, filter question

For those who've quarantined and ran copper for an ich outbreak, what did you use to filter the QT tank? I need to start one ASAP, I have an Aquaclear and a CPR backpack, without using the carbon (of course), is that enough to keep the tank going? I am planning on running bare bottom, and no live rock. Any thoughts or direction is appreciated.

I used an unused wet and dry, but if I had it to do again I would use the Hypo method for curing ick. and run a UV unit at the same time.
