Beautiful.. But I think you could use a Brilliant Red coral of some kind or two to balance out the blue..

I was thinking a rose millipora (ORA)... or a red lobo...

more Red Yumas would be cool.

I duno how you are on actinodiscus or discusoma mushrooms but the red morph of those is awsomely interesting!

tanya72806.... i was using Via Aqua Ocean Pure Pro it had issues with Alk and high Borate which made my test kits read higher in Alk levels then they truly were....

my sps corals would slowly die from tips down as though they were gettin burned .... it was due to low alk i thought my alk was between 7-8dkh but when i took away the Borate from the formula my Alk was more like 5-6dkh causing low alk burn to my sps corals i dealt with this for a year losing many kinds of sps until someone on this board pointed me into this direction....

since switching to TM all my corals have bounced back 100% and are growing very nciely now!

my alk now stays at 9.3-9.6 with this new salt

Jovreefer... a nice bright stylo would be cool i gotta find one!

sahlanthegreat.... i do have a small school of anthias just not in the picture.... my fish list is....

blue hippo tang
pink tail trigger
yellow fuzzy dwarf lionfish
1 male lyertail anthias
3 female lyertail anthias
clarki clown
lawnmower blenny
mandarin dragonet
siscortail goby
yellow coris wrasse
3-yellow tangs

unfortunately i lost a few of ur other frags during the time i was battling the bad salt mix....

if u have some of those frag again id like to grab them from u again mainly the cali tort.... and maybe a cap again in the future, i still have those huge green palys too if u want :D

Hey... been around... just staying low and letting my tank grow out. Your reef is really coming together. I've got a couple frags you might want that are already encrusted on their own rocks.

japanese purple rim cap
purple monster

I can always clip other stuff too. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Do you have problems with your rose anenome touching your other corals, or spreading toxins inthe tank? Do you run carbon?

murphreef
11/30/2006, 09:01 PM
no problem with it that i know of....

it hasnt touched a thing its been on that rock for the last 2.5 years and doesnt even budge even when i move it around... i just keep corals enough distance from it

i do run carbon 24/7 and change it every 2 weeks
