One of my two pajama cardinals has started “picking” at the other one. They have been together now for almost a year. He appears to be nipping at his stomach. I also noticed the blue tang “picking” at him in the same manner. He has changed his swimming patterns and is acting very nervous. He acts as if he has a nervous quiver while swimming. I don’t see anything else different about him. Any thoughts?:(

is he injured.
do you have a q/t or hospital tank i would be inclined to get him some refuge if he is being picked on the stress may make him ill.

He doesn't appear to be injured. I havn't been able to get him out yet. I have a 10g sump I can move him to, or I can set up the QT, but I wouldn't know what to treat him for? I thought some alone time might work, but I can't cauch him. :(

some alone time would be good. if you do catch him rearrange the rockwork before reintroducing him might help stop ant teritorial behaviours.
