So on a colony of zoa's i got recently, when the zoa's went in there was this orange thing that looks almost like a carpet anemonie..but kind of not that covered most of the rock all in between everyone of the zoa's. it didn't seem to be hurting them, but i could imagine that it would be sometime soon. I duno if i can get a picture of it, i can try but if someone knows w/o me geting apicture that'd be great. Its like orange black and white, and it actually has like a mouth or at least an opening that expands and contracts...any ideas?

eh i duno, because it doesn't grow from a stalk like that. its like...connected to the rock all over the whole body of it. and i'd think if it would be anyn kind of an anemonie it would be killing the zoa's but it doesn't seem to be doing that either. i took a pic of the part i could see, and i'll try to upload it later. but i dont think its any of those things, as those are all connected with a stem, and this is like, connected by the whole entire thing to the rock

There are such things as mini carpet anemones, but there are a number of things it could be, can't tell without pictures

nope, no way its a sponge. I'm at school now, so when i get home i'll try to put the picture up. the problem is that its like, underneath the zoa's and theres only a little part you can see, for a while i kind of thought it was bad so when my dad was doing a little fragging he kind of cut it up w/ an exacto, so theres only one small part left, but its under the zoa's so like i said its hard to get a good picture of it. i got one though so i'll upload it later...never seen anything like it though
