Are Apogon Cardinals mouth breeders as well? Or is it only Pterapogon kaudernii aka Bangaii?

Look at the Apogon leptacanthus Breeding Log or the post "Mostly Apogon margaritophorus woes"...

BTW, the answer is "YES", they are all mouthbrooders. However, virtually all the other species you'll encounter have short brood periods and pelagic larvae (hence my suggestion to check out the Apogon leptacanthus breeding log - best success was 45 days out)
