After my tank finished cycling, I got a few frags of zoos from my LRS. They were under metal halides there, and all were open. All but one small colony of them opened when I put them into my tank that day, but now most of them are closed. I've got a 10 gallon tank with 65 watts of pc lighting on there. Out of all of them, one of the single polyps is open and looking good, a few of the big(looked sun starved) ones are open enough that about half of their skirts are showing, yet are still huddled close to the rock, and most of the rest are just slightly open, with only a bit of the colour inside them showing. The ammonia nitrates and nitrites on the tank are all 0s(those are the only test kits I have), the ph stays a little over 8.0(somewhere between 8.0-8.4) and the spg is 1.025. Is there likely something wrong with them, or are they just being moody and not wanting to adjust?

if you acclimated them correctly and your water params are good, I would just give them some time..

They're starting to look better now. Most of them are at least 3/4 way open.

Give them time, I'm sure the water they came from was a tad bit different from yours.
What is your Alk?

I dunno what the alk is, I don't have a test for that. But they're doing well now. They've all opened up now and look happy. None are stretching(except the longer ones that I got, but they've gotten a bit shorter) and it only takes them a minute or so after the lights go on to open.
Also, one of the big ones got a piece of cyclops the other day(and devoured it) what should I be giving them though? I've heard mixed reviews on marine snow, yet I can't seem to find any other opinions on what is good for them. . .

Feeding your corals isn't a priority now.
First buy all your test kits, then test. Then I would buy any additives you might need to bring your levels up or down. (ie. Buffer for Alk)
Finally, think hard and ask around about feeding corals. Even the wisdom in doing so.
Personally, I am against it.:)
