What do you think about this DI system

Here is DI system that is used primarily for car washing. I saw it at an auto show. The units are pretty compact and produce no waste water. Can it be used for a reef.

It's probably like most DI systems. Unless you have VERY low tds tap water, then you will burn through DI resin super fast. It could end up costing you a lot lot more in the long run (and the short run) unless you have low tds. I think RO/DI is just the more practical approach for most of us right now. Also I couldn't find any information on replacement cartridges, so i don't know how costly this would be to maintain. I would just stick with RO/DI.
