Which macro algae?

Hi, I have cheato in my refugium, can anyone tell me another macro algae that I could use for nitrate removal? I had grape caulpera and it began leeching its toxins into my refugium which flowed into my display tank, what a mess. Can anyone recommended another macro algae and where to get it? Thanks for your input.

Green or red cheato is the only macro I would put in my fuge.. Less chance for problems..

Red Chaetomorpha? Maybe you mean Gracilaria? That would be another potential fuge macroalgae, though it isnt very fast growing. It is highly palatable though. Ulva, or sea lettuce, would be another one that serves as food. Grows quickly in good conditions for me.

I use red gracilaria with my chaeto with good results. Just be sure the gracilaria has enough flow to tumble it a little.
