Very nice , catchit. Glad to see it all made it in one piece. The plastic "tray" on the bottom is mainly for shipping and most people remove that when they set it up. Forgot to mention that and it is something I should remember to say because it is a lot harder to remove when you put water and rocks in the tank:) Keep us updated.

we like them too ;) and did them ourselves. the flooring company where we ordered the wood thought we were crazy for mixing the species...but we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. they are a mix of brazillian and american cherry.
thanks for the compliments!

Actually, now that I think about it, it would be beyond cool if the doors matched the floor.

very interesting panel ... more info please ... did you do it yourself
catchit

the panel is DIY. it is 1/4 inch acrylic that has been painted on the back. each plug on the b2 power strip has its own leviton GFCI adapter. everything is "mounted" with industrial strength velcro so that it can be reconfigured fairly easily when needed (and no holes!).

thanks, guys! tho one day it will fill in some with growth, open is my goal.
wish my camera was a bit better...the exposure lattitude doesn't allow for showing off all the detail. the whole package is very clean. i can't be happier with the way things are going.
That's a nice picture of a pompano you have in the background, i take it you're into fishing ;)

Hi Catchit. Your tank looks awesome!! I also purchased a System 80 about 2 months ago. My Rock is going to be delivered this Tuesday. :) :) I'm also doing a Shallow Sand Bed. How many pounds of sand and rock did you put in your tank. Looks to be the perfect amount. I don't like the look of some tanks that seem to be completely filled with rock. I want mine to have a lot of open space.
Thanks!
