No canopy?

Is the Elos system canopy-less? Would it be able to hold a canopy on top of it or the weight of the canopy would break the tank?

Also, is it sold in a package deal or can you just buy only the tank?

We actually make a light that fits on the top called the "Aqua Top" and it is available for all standard sizes. A canopy is fine with our tanks provided it is designed properly, as with any tank. At the moment we sell mainly custom tanks and systems but if it is special ordered I can have tank only shipped in. Let me know if you have any other questions.
