I have a mandarin with Ich. She has blisters on the body and the normal ick spots on the fins. Can I use copper on a mandarin in QT?

I would say no to the copper from what I've read.

If you are going to use copper, I would use Seachem's Cupramine. It is supposed to be safe for mandarins.

i thought mandarins can't get ich because of their slime coating

Thats what I thought, but the slime coat just make ich appear differently as green blisters IMO. I can see ich on the fins. I have Copper safe. Can this product be used safely?

They don't, however, get ich easily. Test your water parameters and make sure your ph is not irritating the skin. s/b 8.2-8.3.
