Very nice!
Looks like you found a good spot for him.
Give him another couple days to settle, and then try to give him a silverside.
I give mine 1 or 2 a week.

Thanks for your help davocean.

He actually ate 2 mysis shrimp about 5 hours after being introduced which i found to be odd but was thankful he was in good health from the LFS.

Do you recommend silversides over mysis?
Does it hold a better nutritional value for the nem?

I give mine 1 silverside or 2 in a week.
Every other day my fish get mysis and cyclopzeze and the nem picks up mysis.
My clown makes sure the nems get mysis by spitting it into nem b4 he eats himself.
Pretty cool, I'm sure yours will do the same.
Most nem keepers do feed silversides.

Seems pretty cramped in that rock formation but looking good.

It's just fine.
It's only been 24 hrs.
Once it's fully acclimated it'll stretch out as soon as the lights come on.
My LTA always withdraws into the rocks at night or if startled/stressed.
Best is leave it alone.

great looking anemone.
dont intend to hijeck your post, but i coulnt find much info about this anemone variey. i am thinking about getting an LTA. i have a couple of questions. where would you place an LTA? on the rock on on the substrate? plus, so they move about a lot? climb rockwork?

p.s. before someone aks:) my tank is 40G with 25G sump.refuge. i have 150w MH and 2x65w actinics PC. i already have an RBTA, which i doing great.

thanks for the info.

Yeah nice anemone.
Did you pair the maroons yourself?

thanks for the kind words, i did infact pair them at the LFS before i bought them. They have yet to mate and i hope i can induce mating<crosses fingers> by having the nem.

it depends on your lighting and flow. If you have MH and high tank turnover you should place the nem in a crevice, as i have in the pic above, with a small overhang to help with the light acclimation to MH. If the nem doesn't like the spot he will move on his own
