This is the mother rock were my white shrooms come from......This is not a sponge....It looks like a spiderweb with funels coming off of it.....I have Lewbart look at it...He said definitly not a sponge.....The rock opens like and oyster....The white shrooms come from the inside......its about 6" in diameter....???http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/138429yellow_spider_web_2.JPG

The yellow is a tunicate, but it also could be a sponge or even better yet a bryozoan. The picture needs to be better to tell exactly what it is.

The rock opening and closing probly means that you do have some sort of bivalve that is the rock. This is very common.

Other than that I can barely understand what you are talking about.

What white shrooms are you talking about ?
