This little guy just graduated from QT and now in the display tank. While in QT, I sort of trained him to eat hair algae by placing some rubbles with hair algae from the main tank. Somehow, he developed a taste for hair algae, he is having a blast in the display tank. Look,

Yeah, anthamm, what made you think that's a fake. That's how the pic came out. I don't even like the sharpness. I was just showing the big tang belly. If you have nothing nice to say, zip it.

Thanks Dakafall I wish people think before they speak. Well, this guy is a little over an inch. He is still a baby but his appetite for hair algae is just phenomenal. He is constantly grazing like a cow. Unfortunately, he is now back in the QT tank. He was showing signs of ick. I am treating him with quICK cure (suggested by LFS). Had to bite the bullet on that one. I did not want to lose this little guy. He still gorges himself with nori. It looks like the ick is getting better.

Anthamm, FWIW, ur seat ejector was activated.

My blue tang is the same way. It eats hair algae all day and has a huge belly. He has grown so fast too.

Willy, I guess we are lucky. I read many times here that hippos do not care for hair algae. Well, ours do. :D

i say he looks fake because the thing looks like its photoshopeed in + he loks to bright in color or its just your camera thats not that great but if its real he is cute

You taught a regal tang to eat hair algae?
