Our membranes are shipped dry is it one of ours? after running for a few hours it should be wetted. When did you last change your carbon filters? A system should always run for five or ten minutes before you check TDS in a clean glass container unless your using an inline meter.

Its one of your membranes, the carbon and sediment filters were changed about a month ago. Should I let the membrane run for a few more hours bypassing the DI??

Letting it run isn't going to help it let it sit until tomorrow and fire it up again sometimes they just need to sit wet. Did you also get a new flow restrictor and is this a 75 or 100 GPD?

Its a 75 gallon/day membrane. I did not get a new flow restrictor. I Have the old one which I removed to install a Membrane flush kit.

No, the flush kit has a flow restrictor built in to it. You turn the valve to flush the membrane then turn it back to Run the system.
Its one of those all in one flush kit/flow restricter set ups.

Mark thanks for the detailed e-mail now we have something to work on. I need to know your flow rate now many gallons of waste to production. Easiest way is to make one quart of production and see how much waste water you get Filmtec 75 GPD membranes should be run at 4:1.
