Looking to buy a point and shoot camera for my girlfriend. I want to buy a camera that is easy for her to use and of course takes good photos. She will most likely be taking pics of people and our pets. Im looking to spend around 150-200 dollars. Also any places that have good deals on cameras would be appreciated.

Be sure to check out the vendor before you buy-- www.resellerratings.com has a huge database of reviews. You can get some really great deals but sometimes the old saying, "if it sounds too good to be true..." is true :p
As far as particular models go- I'm not familiar with very many point and shoots but when I want to learn about a particular model I'll go dpreview.com and read the review if it exists, or go to that particular brand's forum and see what people have to say about it.
