worm?

tonight i fed my fish and noticed red hairs coming out of my sand bed holding on to a mysis. i dug in the sand and pulled out a 1" hairy red worm. anybody know if its good or bad? sorry no camera thanks in advance

most likely a bristle worm. They are good. w/o a pic it is hard to identify though.

That sounds more like a hair worm, or cirratulid, maybe. Reefkeeping.com has articles that Google will find for you.

that would be my guess as well. heres a great article on Hair worms, and Spaghetti worms as well. and how to tell them apart.
