Can anyone recommend a good service to provide sms notification of the email sent from the ethernet module.
My current ISP offers this but for a monthly fee and its filtering capabilities are limited, Im trying to find an alternate site that I would setup an email account that would only be used for the AQ emails and filter all other email as spam or have the ability to send sms msg only from incoming AQ email.

Thanks

For free or a paid service?

Since getting an alarm notification should be extremely seldom if ever (praying) a free service would be preferred.
For now I think I will redirect the email to my office, it is tied to our vmail system it will notify me as well it has text to speech so I can listen to the email msg, only problem is I wont be able to filter it will notify me anytime a new email is received.
Hopefully I can convince our I.T. group to create a separate email address that I will only send AQ emails to but I will still have to deal with false spam notifications.

My phone service offers Email to SMS for free, I had forgotten about that but after reading your post I gave them a call. You sure your Cell phone company does not offer the same service?

This is a made up example using Verizon but the format for mine is like this.

TelephoneNumber@Verizon.com

3059081234@verizon.com

I just tried it on my Cell provider and it worked. I got the message within about 5 seconds of sending it.

BTW I am not saying Verizon offers the service, thats just an example. I still plan on getting SMS module because I just dont trust the internet to be working 24/7 if I am on Vacation.

I found out that my wireless provider does have this service for a monthly fee of $5 which Im not willing to pay for a notification I may never get, however I tested it and found even though you dont subscribe to the service I can send an email msg to my cell phone number and will receive a text msg alert from the provider
stating I have an email msg and if I want to read it I must subscribe since I really dont care about reading the msg this works for me and best of all its free.
Thanks for the help

Thats cool, so you get a free notification and all you have to do is check your email box at work and find out exactly what's wrong.
The Beta version allowed multiple recipients, Version 5 still has that right?

Yes your right multiple recipients can be set
