wet/dry filter issue

HELP! :)

my wet dry filter is constantly below the water line - i tried adding water but the pump is pumping water out of the filter faster than the water can pass through the bioballs. I tried moving the bioballs around but thats not helping - its pushing water / airbubbles into the tank and is quite loud.

whats the pump rated to? And what is the overflow rated to? You need the pump to be pushing out less than the overflow can pull out, otherwise you'll run into this problem. Also check in the overflow somewhere for a clogged pipe or something like that.
