Lets keep a nice list so the Aquatronica Engineers can see what needs fixing. Please post whats wrong and if someone can confirm, then it most likely is a real software Bug.

My first bug is the Feed Timer Buttons.
I have found that the first two work OK. Up Arrow and Right Arrow. The Others do not display the correct Arrow directions and every time I label them the Labels keep disappearing. Also the Time mode does not seem to work on them.
Most people only use one or maybe two of the Arrows but if anyone else has tried 3 and 4 please let me know if you had the same problem.

The agenda symbol does not appear on the control panel display, with or without sound.

Robby,
that was the case till I upgraded :-(
With or without sound, no symbol, lower left corner, or anywhere.

Anybody else not seeing the Symbol?? We need another person to confirm it's a real bug and not an individual problem.
Also what about mine did anybody try using all four of the feed timers?
Backup issue:
1. After a reset the devices will be recongized in a different order (eg. S01: temp, S02: pH,... ---- after reset S01: pH, S02: temp.,...)
--> you cannot restore your saved configuration because the ports are not the same as in the saved file
2. If you plug in the devices in the correct order (as in the saved backup-file), you can restore the saved configuration (all timers, alarms, ....are correct)! - I've tried it!
But -unfortunately- there is still one bug: All names of the sockets of the power unit are lost and you cannot give them new names (they are named "A:-", B:-",...)
BTW: During the restore you have you reassign some (but not all) devices (see jpg - sorry, only german) - don't know why

I confirm RDS' findings with a few minor differences.
The names on one of my powerbars were correct, the other was not. (It would show nothing in the PC software, and I couldn't rename them) However on the controller itself, the powerbar plugs were named after some modules I had installed. Even if I changed them here it wouldn't allow me to change them in the PC software.
It's like it was seriously confused and just filled in the blanks with whatever. There has to be a better way to do this.
As a temporary fix, I suggest creating an excel spreadsheet containing all your settings, so that you can easily re-program your unit if it comes to that. (I just went through this and I'll tell you it isn't easy to remember your exact settings if you haven't touched some of them in over a year)
Psyire is right, it's the same with my AQ

The Email system does not work for some of us because the Sender is hard coded as aquatronica.com and this is rejected by most email servers as an attempt to relay email AKA Spamming.
Please allow the user to change the domain to whatever their own email account is.

It would be really nice if the ethernet had software built in to deal with Dynamic IP's. Most webcams and wireless routers have built in software that can transmit the IP when it changes to services such as www.dyndns.org or others.

The agenda symbol does not appear on the control panel display, with or without sound.
Having edited the agenda (from PC), the agenda symbol is now displayed - only had one item on agenda when upgrading to v5 - lets hope its a rare problem on upgrade.

The arrow keys show up in the PC software as
UP
RIGHT
RIGHT
RIGHT
The LEFT and DOWN are Missing.
I did not worry about that at first but when I tried to name the LEFT arrow as "Skimmer" then set the plug for the Skimmer to go OFF for 25 Minutes on a timer it did not work properly.
When I go back to the PC software the Name is gone but the rest is ok.
When I press the LEFT Arrow the Skimmer goes off and stays OFF. It will not come back On and when I look at the settings using the Controller they show up correctly but do not work as a timer.
I use the UP and RIGHT arrows and have no problems but the other two do not save the timer programming or Name correctly.

Strange, I have my Left arrow set to stir my kalk reactor for 3 mins, and my up arrow to topoff. (both manually if I wish to do so)
No problems with how mine work...

Erased the program and did it over, now the timer works for the specified time :) Still seeing the extra two right arrows in the PC software but at least the program works and that's all that really matters. Seems to be a little theme going on of erasing older programs then re-do them under version 5 and they work.

I did not realize there was a thread already dedicated to bugs. Here's my contribution.

Yes, please fix this. What a pain in the arse dealing with a dynamic IP for the Ethernet Module.
Hopefully this can be fixed/enhanced soon through an internet update?

I've located a bug related to pH control.
Controller v3.11
pH V6.0, hardware V2
Computer Software V5.6.0.259
My CO2 solenoid is running on a pH program, with the reference set to pH 6.6 Min .04 Max .04. The CO2 solenoid plug is turned on when the pH rises above 'ref + max'. (and off when pH goes below 'ref-min')
If you hit "use curve" instead of "use reference", the CO2 solenoid works the opposite way. Now, the solenoid plug is turned on when the pH is below 'curve - min'.
It doesn't really matter which way the controller needs to be programmed, but it seems to me that "use reference" and "use curve" should both work the same way.

Hi Untamed12,
this bug has been analized by the Aquatronica engineers and will be solved with the first possible update.
Thanks for your help.
