I have about 25 gallons of limewater that is around 2-3 months old. I usually have to drip it during the summer and winter months to maintain a proper PH, but stopped awhile ago when I was able to open the windows. Now that I am turning my heat on and the windows are closed I need to start my drip again. Is the limewater still good? It is stored in a 33 gallon brute trashcan with a lid. Also, any suggestions on a better way to administer the limewater. I am currently using a Kent Drip system but would like something a little more accurate but not to expensive.
Thanks,
Mike

It has probably had some substantial conversion to calcium carbonate, but there is likely still some usable calcium hydroxide in it. You might as well try it and see what it does for your tank. :)

I dose limewater with a slow pump (A Reef Filler) and a float switch as an auto top off system.
