I've been fighting with this balance for a month or so. I've finally got my Mg up to 1290, my dKH to 9.5, but my Ca is under 400, usually in the 350-380 range. I've been adding Turbo Calcium. I've increased the flow on my reactors, but it doesn't move.

I've got 100 gallon tank, 35 gallon sump, LOTS of coraline, everywhere, a 6" Derasa and a 3" Maxima; a few larger pieces of SPS, but mostly frags -- and everything is Growing.

I'm using a Schuran Pico reactor, the effluent is in the 6.4 pH range, the tank maintains 8.1 to 8.3 day/night.

Should I just leave well enough alone or will the Ca deplete if I stop the dosing? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks: Fishie

How much turbo calcium did you add? You not have added enough calcium.

This calculator shows how much anhydrous calcium chloride (like Turbo calcium) to add:
