I was wondering out of the following anemones what everyone's favorite was and which you would go for first I have seen all of these local for around the same price Magnifica, S. Haddoni, RBTA, or a Crispa.

Depends on your level of expertise with anemones. IMO easiest to hardest is RBTA, Crispa, Haddoni and Magnifica. Do a lot of research before purchase. Magnifica's are very difficult.

I like the RBTA mostly because they seem to be very hardy.

Why are Magnifica's so difficult?

Actually the better question would be what would be best suited as a host for True Percs.

even better question what anemone can stay in a 29 gal tank.

based on tank size its BTA and even a bta will outgrow your tank

not to seem harsh but 29 gal is small to start any carpet will outgrow your tank and is not advised seabae anemones get huge same with lta's and the 29 IMO is too small for a Magnifica just based on keeping water quality where it needs to be.

Haddoni carpets will eat every fish in the tank and take up the whole tank so your only left with a condy which get big also but arent hosting species of anemone or flower anemones which dont get very big and arent hosting species of anemones

bta being the only choice but if you search there are ppl with BTA's 18" + so its not a easy decision

I think you'll be safe with a nice rose BTA in there and that is the only one I'd recommend for you right now. Get a small one and you'll be able to keep it in the 29 for a long time.
It is hit or miss with percs/ocellaris hosting them though. I've had them take right to a BTA but I've also had a few that would rather host in a colt coral even though 4 BTAs were right next door ;)

The best question would have been to ask if I was actually going to put any of those in my 29 the answer is no I am really just trying to do some research right now it won't happen for a little while just trying to get a plan set for when I am ready what I will be getting thanks for the info so far. I was really just trying to get an across the board answer on what everyone likes. So 29 gal out of the picture what do you guys like. Also why are magnificas so hard to keep.
