How does one configure the Ethernet Module to send e-mails? Specifically, what do i put in the Server SMTP IP Address field? I tried smtp.yahoo.com, smtp.gmail.com etc and pressed Send Test E-Mail. The application tells me an e-mail was sent, but I don't receive any e-mail.

Please explain how this is configured. Neither the crappy photocopy Manuel provided with the Ethernet Module or the on-line help explains the Ethernet Module.

at work so no screenshots available but, two thoughts

1) your SMTP server may require authentication - tick the check box and enter your user name and password.

2) enter your modem/firewall IP address in the gateway field for the module to route the message correctly.

Does not work for me consistantly. I'm using TimeWarner Road Runner in Dallas, TX

Got my USA.NET account to work :D
I had typed in the wrong password for the account, Duh!
I use outlook to pick up my mail so it had been a good year since last I had to type in the password.
I still wish I could use my ISP email account but it will not work with the Aq domain set like that.

First Day at work with Email alerts running at home. Everything was fine till an hour ago, now I have 36 emails in just the last hour! Letting me know my pH is too High :D LOL I set the pH alarm at 8.30 and the Tank keeps going back and forth between 8.30 and 8.29 so I get an email every 2 minutes. Alert then Cancel, Alert then Cancel :) Help me my email account is flooding :) Cant wait to get home and push that number up to 8.35 Would be nice if I could change it on the Ethernet but maybe on the next version. Actually it's Kind of funny! chalk it up to learning not to be so tight with those alarms.
