Nice one :)

Also you can try your own cell phone provider
eg.
3029991234@verizon.com

This is why the SMS module won't be very attractive to the north american audience.

I agree psyire but... the Ethernet is not going to help during a power outage and your dependant on your ISP working 24/7. Dont know about you guys but my ISP has a tendency to go down about once every 2 weeks, granted its only for a few hours but it might just happen at a critical time.
Plus add in the fact, that us AQ users tend to want every accessory they sell :D and it might do ok.

Man, you have a bad ISP. I can only remember once in the past year that mine has been down.

Ya same here, I think I had 1 outage in the past 2-3 years (comcast)
When I was with Verizon it was like that.

The service is fast but the reliability sucks!

Is it cable, DSL, T1?

At Home Wireless DSL. It gives me 5mb connection which is nice and fast but often has problems. I have Regular DSL at work (1mb) but that also goes down when they have problems. The ISP says its the Transatlantic Fiber Optic links go down and cut them off from the rest of the Internet.
