I have two of their velocity series pumps.....you cannot hear them running. I tried an Iwaki, pan world, gen-x and was never happy with them noise wise. Found one of these used and tried it out....made my year. I have not run the blue line series but if they are anything near the velocity series, you will be very happy.

Hey Roland, I know a couple of people who have them, and love them.

The guy I talked to at Premium aquatics raved about them. I was going to use a pair of NS800s to drive a big ETSS skimmer before I bought my octopus.

Thanks guys im going to have to give them a try.

coral & Cathman, not the same as ..., the NS pumps use WAY less elictricity (reportedly). Velocity heat up water but they are the quietest that ive not heard.

Roland, I think theyre the same as the GenX Mak4 type pumps, but just much smaller models.
