I finally have my live rock and I am getting ready to try and aquascape it. The question is, can the rock be touching or leaning on the glass in the back of the tank? I use to be under the impression that it shouldn't, but the LFS that I got some of the Live Rock from did exactly that in one of their display tanks.
Thanks
Brad

as long as its not some huge 20 pounder rock, then it should be fine. Just dont make the glass the main support for the rock in question tho....make sure its a somewhat light rock, nothing big and you'll be fine. I do it sometimes, but more as a last resort type of thing.

Use your larger pieces of rock as the main support. Place them on the substrate and work your way up. Try and wedge all the pieces together like a puzzle to build some strength. The last thing you want is a rock slide to shatter the glass, that'll kill your day.
