I was looking and there are tons of smalls ones all over the rock too not bigger than a lead of pencil

I can't tell anything from the picts. You should try putting the camera right up to the glass of the tank and take the picts without a flash. Thats how I take them.

Looks like a little white or yellow ball? Probably a sponge.
