I've had a Yellow Tang for almost 2 years now. Great eater-eats everything. He's always got a full belly. It doesn't seem like he's grown any in size. Any suggestions on what to feed to get him to grow? I feed him everything-Spectrum pellets, frozen brine, krill, nori, Formula 1 and 2, mysis. Anyone tried anything that works?

He has to be growing lol. Have any pictures when you first got him? Then snap one now and compare.

I wouldn't worry about you tang growing.
As long as he is healthy you are doing good.
I see numerous people with tangs that have outgrown their tanks and are looking to find a new home for them.
Be careful what you ask for. :)

How big is he now? Yellows are one of the smaller tang species and he may be close to full size.

I've seen 10" yellow tangs.
If hes complaining, I doubt his is full grown.

The largest recorded yellow tang is 20 cm, a little under 8" (fishbase) and most of the ones I've seen in the wild are around 6" or less. If his fish is close to this size it may be done growing or close to it.
