I recently lost everything in my tank when I took a trip to chicago for 2 weeks and the power went out for 4 days. If the power outage did not kill them the fact that they set for a week after most everything died without a heater before I got home. Well I cleaned everything out yestaurday and rinsed all the sand. I now put everthing back in the tank and it is time to watch it cycle. Does anyone know where I can find a cheep cleanup crew to get thing off to a good start? would anyone local to the farmington area be able to donate a cup of sand or two so that I can thing rolling again?
Thanks

No cleanup crew until after you see what it does in terms of a cycle. Hopefully, you should have some bacteria left in your rock, along with some remaining die off, that should be enough to get some kind of cycle going. You could put some flake food in there to help feed it as well.

I have some live sand you can have. You would need to pick it up in the next week or so before I tear down tank though. Live in Ballwin
