What kind of bulb? Wattage? Etc. Im keeping my 400w at about 8-10in

measuring from the bulb to the top of the water? 10" I have 135 gal. tank with 3 400 W 10K halide and 2 72" VHO actinic. runing 12 hour on the vho actinic and 7 on the halides, have them on timers 30 min to 1hr apart to start and shut off.
9" for a 250w 10000k single bulb w actinics.

8" for 3-250w 14000k. 4" for the 4-t5 54w 2 blues 2 10000k whites.

6 inches from the water's surface. 175 watt 14k bulb. I have no heat issues. 6 inches is the closest I will get though.
9" from bottom of the bulb to the water surface ..... 400w EVC 10k

about 3 and 1/2 for a 150w reeflux 10k & Iwa 6700k HQI DE :)
no chiller either .... just run 4 pc fans that blow acros where the lights are ;)

24 - 28" from the surface, 1x1000w 10k ushio on light mover

about 4" from my 150w 14k over my 24g with no heat issues at all.

14" from the frame 15" from surface, will be back to about 13" from the frame in a couple of weeks.

8-9" from bulb to water surface. 250W DE phoenix 14K in PFO pendants on icecaps eballasts.

Depending on how old the bulb is from 15 to about 6". 15" when they are new to 6 months, 12" 6 months to 12 months. 9" 12-18 months, 6" 18-24 months. 250s 3 SE 10ks 2 DE 20ks

15" for 2x250w 20k AB bulbs over a 50gallon.
