Here are som pictures of my system 120xl tank from Elos.
Not all of the eqipment is from Elos, but the tank, sump, skimmer ond calcium reactor is.
The system was just put up aproxx. 2 weeks ago, after some months of planning, the system is fitted with the NS4000 skimmer, and the cabinet and the sump needed to be modified.
Parts in the system:
Elos system 120xl
Elos Sump 1000M
Elos Ns 4000 skimmer
Elos Rea 120
Deltec 'kalkwasser' stirrer
Grotech Tec III NG (Trace element adding)
Grotech Phytobreeder and Phytcontrol
Grotech photon linea 2x150w + 6x39w T5
Bulbs and tubes from Fauna Marine
RO unit from Coralife
Tunze Nano stream pumps for circulation (get these in January, if they are finished)
75-80 kg of indonesian live rock, that consists of 3 big rocks and some flat rocks.

Anyway here are som pictures, more pictures will also follow as the tank matures.

Here are some pictures of the stand open.
Ca reactor is not up and running yet, it should be between the skimmer and the plankton reactor.

The Grotech reactor is for phytoplanton, also the upper of the dosers are for the placton. The other doser is for trace elements etc. (Grotech Coral A, B, C)

Hey Jesse, is the NS4000 sitting outside the sump?

Yep. The NS instructions show how to install externally but I have not done it and it is hard to see from these pictures how the water is plumbed coming out of the NS4000. I assume the SUMP is drilled right behind the NS that we can't see? Since we last talked I had a local friend install an NS4000 internally but I am sure I can ask him to try the external install to see how it works. I'll ask him, it give me an excuse to pick through his corals:)

Yepp the sump is drilled right behind the NS, for the water coming out, and on the right hand side for the connestion for the pump that fill it. PVC piping is used through the tank, both for pumps and skimmer. 50/63mm fits directly on the skimmer outlet.
The pumps you can see in the 1st picture.

Hey Elos,
Any updates?
Did you use sound dampening inside the cabinet? Does it really help with cutting out the sound, or does it provide insulation? Just curious...

I used dampering inside the cabinet, the dampering material is made to use in engine rooms, 1 cm thick. And it really really helps, there is almost no noise at all.

Very nice setup. Is that an IKEA floor? Nice too. :)
Anyway, I'm confused about your RO setup, you have it mounted in your stand, where does the waste water go? It looks like the tank is in your living room.

The lamp is a Grotech Photon plus 2x150w and 6x39w T5 tubes.
The T5 tubes are dimmable, and the lamp has an external ballast for the HQI.
The lamp is about 50 cm wide, 90 long and 6 cm thick with deeper part in the middle where the HQI is, here its about 12cm.
The dimmable T5 tubes are controlled with an GHL profiLux plus computer, and the HQI with the Aquatronica computer.
The reason i use GHL for the T5 is that it has cloud simulation.

There used to be an citchen where the tank is now, so the piping for the sink is still there, and i have just hid it in the cabinet, this is the reason of the cabinet beside the tank.
Nope its not an Ikea floor ;-)
Here is a picture update in fisheye format :-)

Looks good Elos,
How is the Grotech TEC working? I'm thinking about buying one for my DIY 2 part plus MG. Can each channel be set at a different rate (per day) and time?
