I would love to hear opinions on what dwarf angels could go into a 30 Gallon reef tank

almost all the dwarf angels can be kept in a 30

Only angels from the argi group should be considered - African flameback, Brazilian flameback and cherub
Lemonpeels are among the least appropriate considering they can reach almost half a foot long.

i know this is a stupid question, but has anyone ever had success with a trigger in a nana reef

Totally impossible - sorry :( I had a huma huma trigger in a 30g. I had borrowed him to rid my tank of a mantis -- he was only about 2.5 inches and possibly the coolest fish I've ever kept - but he was not happy in the 30g even at that size. Triggers are smart & hyper - constantly on the hunt -
