Tank is 125 gallon with 150 pounds of LR. So far all I have is a yellow tang and a lawnmower blenny.

Recommend some suggestions for reef safe easy to care for fish that are less than say $50 and are very hardy to help fill my tank?

Would like to put maybe 6 fish total to account for future size.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I had 2 blues and a yellow tang in the same tank with no issues. I thnk you should be OK. I prefer the Flame Angel as well, such a a bright red but they are a gamble, not always reef safe.

Bangai cardinals are cool if you get a few as well.

a blue with a yellow tang is easily do-able

I've got a yellow tang and a blue regal tang in my tank together and they are always side by side eating together and everything, basically have their own school, get along great. Along with them I have a couple green chromis, two false perc clowns, a flame hawk and a manderin. No problems with any of them.

Very good choices so far. I will look into the Flame Angel. Never seen one at the LFS yet, they go fast!

scuba, keep in mind that flame angels may pick at corals somewhat, but that depends on what corals you may eventually be adding to this tank

If you can get a flame from Hawaii, they are less likely to pick at corals, but they are even harder to find.

Did I hear Black percs? Firefish? Longnose Hawkfish are pretty cool. I love my Flamehawk. What about a diamond, bullet or watchman goby to help sift the sand?
The Flame angel should be afish you add later.

I forgot to say--if you are going to add another tang, do not let this one get to "comfortable" before doing so. Putting a new fish into a tank and watching him get punked is not a good feeling for any hobbyist.
