turning a remora into a recirculating skimmer.

i remember seeing a post on here once before, but can't seem to find it, it was someone made there remora into re-circulating skimmer, i would just like to find it and see if i can do this on my remora pro.

I dont think it would help much.
The remora doesnt use a venturi, so you wont be adding more air to already aspirated SW. You are just agitating the water. Which is already happening from the feed pump.

Now If you were to add a R/C pump and venturi to the body of the skimmer, that would help, but then your essentially replacing the spray jet with the venturi. SO you can dial down your feed pump and save a little money while adding dwell time to the skimmer.

I think it is more work than its worth..

I have seen that mod myself. Looks neat. The recirc has a venturi on it so you would be adding bubbles and chopping up existing ones at the same time. Plus, like Matt said, you can increase the dwell time in the skimmer by using a smaller feed pump. I had some dwell time formulas when I designed my skimmer, I wish I remembered where I found them...
