I have my TCP/IP settings right for my network and I can get to the Ethernet Module/Webserver on my internal IP and external IP.
But,
Only when surfing from a computer on my internal network. Even if I set the DMZ host to my module's IP, it dosen't work from a computer on the 'internet'. (DMZ should open up all ports/traffic?) Router: Linksys BEFSR81
Any help would be cool...

The DMZ mode for is not the best configuration because the DMZ open only the ports but not routing the ports (specific port80) this is a specific setting that you need, I have a Linksys to and in some option of the Linksys web menu you can make the rooting by NAT or by port, the first time to I tried to connect the Ethernet module had the same problem.

Which do you want it to be? Just by port 80? or by NAT?

use port forwarding and forward port 80 to your module's IP with port 80.
It should work
so bascially, u hit ur external IP/public IP from internet with http (web browser), it will go to your module.
hope this help

it's not working...
There is an option for the router to function as a 'gateway' or 'router'. Which should it be set to?

Not sure if this will apply dependent on the type of router you have but does your router have settings for a firewall if so maybe by default it may be blocking wan to lan connections, or do you have settings for a virtual server where you can define the wan tcp port number to forward to the lan tcp port 80.
