Got the 6025 today. Read instructions and put it together.

I must say that I am not very happy with the way the outer half "basket" connects to the other half with the impeller. It snaps together OK on the half away from the wire. The part where the wire snaps will not stay closed. Just the slightest movement of the wire "pops" it apart. When the power head is snaped onto the bracket it wants to come apart also.
To me, the "barbs" or hooks are not big enough to hold the two halves together firmly. The plastic flexes to much. Over time with cleaning and use, this does not appear to be very solid.

The plastic is very solid, it flexes so it bends rather than breaks. The cable just needs to be bent upwards and the pieces clicked together.

I tried that, It will not stay together. If you move it just a little in the bracket it "pops" out.

PM me an address and I will have it picked up and we will replace the screen or the motor to get a good fit. I suspect the pump was crushed a bit in shipping, you could also try squeezing the pump down a bit and the screen sideways to flex the pieces back into a good fit. It should take quite a bit of force to pull them apart.

Ok, thanks. I will try that first tonight. I did play around with it a lot last night and could not get it to stay. If not I will PM you.

Thanks
