View Full Version : Metal Halide fixture for bowfront? Center brace creates a shadow

As you all may know, bowfront tanks have an annoying plastic center brace in the middle of the tank. I just purchased a coralife aqualight pro fixture:

and it creates a really bad shadow down the middle of the tank.

I was wondering what kind of metal halide light fixture you would recommend for somebody in my situation. Thanks.

I hate to say it but the only way to avoid that shadow is to run two MH's. Here are a few options.
