Coral aclamation

My fish guy at the local pet store said that you dont really need to aclamate coral if it looks healthy. I bought a bunch of coral from live aquaria. They arived at my house by 1:00pm making me an hour late for work. So I gave them a 15 minute aclamation. ya know 5 min in bag. 5 min after adding some tank water. then another 5 min with some more tank water. and then I put them in tank. I bought short tentical plate coral. super colored zoos. and mushroom coral. is this bad......what is the worst case scenario here?

worst case is that they die.

I'm sure they'll do fine. If you have metal halides then you need to "light acclimate" them. I just temperature acclimate corals by letting them float.
