Any fellow reefers out there have any input on the new (I think they are new anyway) FishCue heaters? Specifically the one the the microprocessor (Hype?) seems interesting.


any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently nobody really has experience with these heaters. They sure look promising though.

I did end up ordering a 300 watt version from Premium Aquatics on Tuesday. It should be here tomorrow.

Not a good product.

Three major problems.
1) The power cord is only 3.5 ft. long on the 300 watt version! That's hardly long enough for all but the smallest of aquariums.
2) The heater does not turn off as advertised when removed from the water. In fact, it just stays on heating the air and gets real hot.
3) The suction cup clips break when attached to the heater.

A call tag is coming for mine so its being returned.
