For help ID-ing my Polyps please pretty please. My LFS could only tell me they where Polyps.


The first 2 I have no idea they were growing under some Polyps I had bought. So I fragged them.

From what i can tell this are some sort of PE but not sure.

I am looking for the common name and the scientific names. Any help will be great.

I don't know that the first two have 'names', but the third one is either going to be a GPE (what I call the imposters, as the true GPE's are like the true RPE's-a little different than the ones on zoaid-can't find true GPE's, though...), or Green Stardust PE's. The pinkish hue would make me think GSPE's. There is a variey of steps in coloring up a GSPE and some only go so far under certain lighting and tank conditions. I would expect the centers to turn a deeper fluorescent green with a slight whitish/pinkish ring just inside the skirts. Some stay at this morph, while others can morph to things like Desert Foxes and Area 51's, etc. (IMO, these are all the same zoa, just not the same color becasue of tank setup). Regardless, it is Z. gigantus.

Not sure on the fourth pic either. Maybe a paly/protopaly, but can't tell (pic is a little blurry).
