i've been thinking about adding some night lights to my tank so i was looking online for some blue LED night lights. i've never seen these 'moon white' versions and was wondering if anyone uses them. i think they would look pretty cool.

here's a link (http://www.current-usa.com/lunarlight.html) to the manufacturer

you could use the reds to spy on your tank too.

I had that unit over the center of my 210. It looked "ok" but I'd rather have the blue led's instead.

The lunar link is a very neat feature, assuming at the plug end it still runs off one transformer. I use a couple 3/4 watt coralife lunar lights, and I love the way my corals flouresce from the blue light. I'll try and find a pic of the whole tank shot for you.

you can run 6 lights off of one. i just thought the white light might look realy cool, more like moonlight.

Ifind the white to look much more natural to "my eyes" and a combo of blue/white to be a good balance.....but then again some do like the fuzzy blacklight poster look.

I know alot of people that use a low power incandescant bulb for white light which is very similar in apperance to moon light also. But hey, new gadgets are always a good thing!
