Looks like nice rock. That is if the rocks in the picture are typical of what you get.

I was checking them out today too. I found some auctions of theirs on Ebay. I need some base rock and really don't feel like messing with DIY for now.
If you order, let us know what you think.

My LFS is ordering 900lbs of the stuff and I told him I would take 200lbs of it off his hands. I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with it yet?

Half the people in the Boston Reefers use it and it is awesome dry rock.

If you have seen it in a lot of nice reefs like I have you would see it is top of the line.

Looks like great stuff. Will have to order. I noticed it's cheaper through Ebay than off their website.
Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the pictures.

I think its free shipping on their website and its like $22 shipping on ebay so it comes out to be the same price.

He has brought several boxes to the BRS meetings, it is great looking stuff, it gets gobbled up in no time at the meetings.

No offence, but what's so "amazing" about it? It doesn't appear to hold an ounce of life. Looks like it's been sitting around in boxes for months.

Craig it is base rock, Dead live rock that can be seeded with live rock bought from the LFS, in time this rock will be just as good as that $7-$8 a lb live rock, for a fraction of the price.

I might send an order in for the 12.5lbs of rock rubble for my fuge and Nano.

Craig it is amazing for dry rock. We are not comparing to LR life here.

The shapes, sizes, all light and pourus.....And way cheaper than LR with no bad hitchikers.

I know it's base rock. I've just never heard anyone refer to base rock as "amazing".....

I understand what you are saying and I did not understand the hype either until I got it. I saw it in peoples tanks and it looked nice but when you see it dry you realize how pourus it is and light. 50lbs of Marcos is alot of rock. For example for a 90 I think 75 lbs is quite enough and it has tons of holes, just what you want for LR.

Compare anywhere from $5-9 lb depending on where you live for LR that is way less pourus than this. I got a 25lb box the other day and I was amazed. He also has some Tonga Shelf right now and it is not going to available for import anymore.

You act like you can see the bacteria on live rock... What would make some "live rock" so amazing to you?

for dead rock this is amazing stuff. im thinking about buying some. in a few months, you wouldnt be able to tell this stuff from other live rock anyways.
