Hello-
I currently have a LPS dominated tank (see below). 44 gal. glass (36X15X18).
175w MH w/2 39w T-5's.Center overflow - sumpless-skimmerless-reactorless.
I dose a capful of iodine, calcium and magnesium weekly. Circulation is via a Tunze 6100 placed in upper left corner. I am contemplating converting it to an anemone tank.
What are the pros and/or cons of such a tank. Is lighting sufficient? Supplements?
Other considerations? Thanks for your help. Dennis

Fish2223,

Most people in this hobbie would give their left arm to own a tank like the one you have set up. It looks fantastic. Your accomplishment should not be taken lightly as so many fail to acquire a tank such as yours.

I do hope that you opt to keep your existing tank as it is, and then "play" / experiment with another tank you can use as a species specific one.

maitai-
As most people in this hobby, I have never been happy with this tank.
I don't have room or the desire to have 2 tanks. So I'll probably tear
down and start a new anemone tank. Dennis

Your current tank looks great! But it sounds like you already have your mind made up, and it's nice to have something new. What kind of anemones do you plan on putting in it?

Dennis- I've always admired your aquarium. The answers to your questions will all depend on what type of anemone you plan on keeping.

Thanks everyone - I need to do some research, however I would like
to go with RBTA's and Haddoni Carpet's. Dennis
