Hey all,

Do you guys think a 20g with weekly water changes and a 29g fuge would suffice for keeping SPS happy and thriving? Lighting would most likely be a 175 Iwasaki 15k on a Magnetic ballast. Flow would be 2 seio820's and the return, which would be about 350gph.

Tank would have 1inch bed of sand, about 20lbs live rock in the main display, and another 30 or so in the fuge.

If I did weekly 8-10g water changes and kept bioload to about 3-4 small fish, how do you guys think this would work out?

sounds good to me, I kept sps successfully in a 29 with bi-monthly water chages and i only hade a 10 g sump about 1/2 full. I only had pc lighting too, so it sounds like it should work fine

Thanks guys.

GSMguy, I didn't realize how cheap, comparably the Tunzes were. Definately a better buy :D.

Dre! Doing a small tank, something I can manage when school does start back. Should work out nicely. We gotta chill homie....one day...lol

Thanks Salty.

vidrine, thanks for the input. Makes me feel a lot better about this. Figure with a fuge that large it should be able to keep up with a smaller bio-load along side the water changes.
