I had two clowns and then one died. I assume it was the female since it was bigger. But like I said it kicked the bucket. Now that the other clown is out of the way I think that this one(male) is now bearing eggs. Maybe it is just fat. Take a look. Under the photos are a link to a bigger photo just click on full size. If needed I can try and get some better pictures. But for now this is the best I can do.

how large is that occellarus? it looks really plump not necessarily indicative of a female...
how was their behavior before ?did they act like a pair...or a genderless subordinates

I think it is an between an inch and an inch and a half. They were new to the tank so I think they were genderless at the time but the one that died was larger than this one.

Were they wild caught? If they were you might think about treating that guy for parasites...

WC occellarus are always way prone to major bacterial, protozoan,ecto.....problems
if you paid very little for them they were wild.....

They were tank raised. The swelling has gone down. I think it was just him reacting or getting used to the anems stings.
