which 1 would you get?? i have a 65gal, with center brace and am trying to decide between these 2 units.

either the 36" 150w ver. of these:

or the 36" 150w ver. of these:

the 1st model has 10k bulbs with t5 act, and the 2nd has 14k bulbs only. What would you buy??? anyone have pics of either of these on their tanks??? thanks for all the help.

Forgetting the price, I would go with the first option that includes the T5s. Having said that, the second option at those sale prices is very tempting. I purchased the Outer Orbit a year ago and I am very happpy with it. At the time they eiether did not have option 1 above, or at least I was not awrae of it - if I was, I would hav epurchased it instead. Overall I am very pleased with the Current USA product for design and build quality - JMHE.

This is just the question I needed answered. I just bought a 65g AGA with the brace from my work. I think I may jump on the Sunpods for $382 from DFS. Anyone else have any opinions or experiance?

cool cant wait, ive seen the sunpod at lfs but want to compare it to this new fixture

i would go with the t5 option too. the reason is you can run the t5's only for the dusk and dawn time. this will keep the water from heating up too much and possibly not having to use a chiller.
