My Build - 1 Year Anniversary

I'm a little bit late posting this - but this is a year later. It's been an interesting experience and it's still hard to believe that my tank is continuing to evolve.

The first thing I should do, even before pics, is thank the members of RC; without them I'm not sure I would have made it this far. I would also like to thank my LFS Marinescape for all that they've been able to supply, and BRS for the few things they couldn't.

good time. Brian and I got here early and had at it. Those machine can be temperamental at times. After adjusting the voltage regulator to the keypad (which we do regularly). The regulator is inside a heavy-duty metal cabinet at the end of the vacuum table. There's a motherboard that is 3' x 2' in there. It runs off of 240v three-phase. It's stout. At any rate, after removing the spindle, bearing cars, cleaning everything, replacing the proximity switch (just for fun), we reassembled it. We also...

Today's fun and & games....not!

Well, apparently we haven't broken any rules. Today's tasks include disassembling the "Z" axis, cleaning, lubricating and recalibrate the X,Y and Z axis. It's a real pita. Started last night, but the worst is yet to come. That's a 4 or 5 hour commitment. Too many deadlines this week, so the timing couldn't be worse. If it's not one thing it's another. But..... Grant us the serenity to accept the crap we can't change......you know the rest. You guys have a great day! ....Mike
