I live in colorado. There's been 0 clouds, and 4 big fires one of which was 4 miles wide. Talk about sad day.Posted 09/27/2010 at 03:35 PM by Mmckibben -

yes, it was kind of dark...only because there are days that are incredibly cloudy lately...and because things are not always the best they can be...but I do feel that it is necessary to experience and embrace darkness completely, so that you are more aware and appreciate the good that comes your way. You need tears and unhappiness to find a deeper sense of joy.
I will continue to seek happiness, however elusive it may be right now.Posted 09/27/2010 at 02:04 PM by superkat -

Wow, that was deep. Normally you show your message in a cheery happy way, but this time it was more dark.Posted 09/26/2010 at 12:18 PM by Mmckibben -

What I Learned at the Bat Mitzvah
thanks, Steve. as an addendum...after i wrote that...i went outside on the porch and looked up at the stars. And I noticed something i've always known...that the longer you look up there, the more your eyes adjust...and that not only the brightest stars are visible. And I think life is like that. As you adjust, you start seeing the things that were not seen at first glance.Posted 09/05/2010 at 10:59 AM by superkat -

Kindergarten Orientation
Begins the 15 years of pain and suffering known as school. Us kids are forced into slave labor; doing many pointless tasks that could be learned in half the time if they didn't use work sheets. The bell to seventh period rings as if the pain is over, but only more pain and work awaits at home. Let the political indoctrination begin!Posted 09/04/2010 at 11:06 AM by Mmckibben
